In September 2023, Odisha is set to retain a monthly collection of Rs 1,651.58 crore through OGST and IGST Settlement, marking a substantial increase of 42.74% compared to the Rs 1,157.08 crore collected in September 2022. Up until September 2023, the state has accumulated Rs 10,440.74 crore in OGST and IGST settlement, displaying a progressive growth rate of 23.27%.
Specifically, the OGST collection for September 2023 reached Rs 1,197.37 crore, surpassing the Rs 926.96 crore collected in September 2022 by a growth rate of 29.17%.
Regarding the Gross GST collection, which encompasses OGST, IGST, CGST, and Cess, Odisha collected Rs 4,249.12 crore in September 2023. This represents a growth rate of 12.85% compared to the Rs 3,765.17 crore collected in September 2022.
The overall collection under various Acts monitored by the Commissionerate of CT & GST, Odisha, including GST, VAT, Entry Tax, and Profession Tax, amounted to Rs 2,638.17 crore in September 2023. This marks a growth rate of 27.43% in comparison to the Rs 2,070.26 crore collected in September 2022.
