Odisha Schools Announce Puja Vacation

The Odisha government has formally proclaimed a Puja break for the state’s schools in anticipation of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations. Two Sundays are included in the holiday period, which is set to start on October 20 and go through October 29. As a result, from October 20 to October 29, schools will be closed.

The Directorate of Secondary Education and the Directorate of Elementary Education each sent out notifications about this choice on Friday. All District Education Officers have been properly informed in order to ensure the efficient spread of this information and any required steps. In addition, the 14th of October has been set aside as a holiday in honour of Mahalaya.
