Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Mohan Majhi visits former Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, who is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. The Chief Minister expressed his concern for the ailing leader and wished him a swift recovery.

During his visit, CM Majhi spoke with the medical team responsible for Harichandan’s treatment. He urged the doctors to ensure the best possible care and emphasized the importance of closely monitoring the former Governor’s health. The Chief Minister was briefed on Harichandan’s current condition and the steps being taken to support his recovery.

Present during the visit was Biswabhusan Harichandan’s son, Prithviraj Harichandan, who also serves as Odisha’s Law Minister. The Chief Minister took the opportunity to exchange words of support with the family and assured them of his administration’s assistance during this challenging time.

Biswabhusan Harichandan, a seasoned leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has had a long and distinguished political career. He served as the 23rd Governor of Andhra Pradesh, a position he was appointed to in July 2019. In February 2023, he was appointed as the 7th Governor of Chhattisgarh. Harichandan has been an influential figure in Odisha politics and is respected for his decades of public service.

The news of his hospitalization has drawn attention from leaders across political parties, with many extending their wishes for his speedy recovery.
